Project Manager

2. Show a Project Manager Dialog

The project manager's function is as follows:
- Edit Section (Add, Delete, Copy, Rename, Import, etc)
- Edit Basic Information ; Design Speed, Starting Station, Maximum Superelevation, Chainage, etc)
- Select the specification file (XML file format)
- Select the cross-section structure information file.
- Select the 3D Modeling structure information file.

2.1 Edit Section

- New : Add a section.
- Delete : Delete the current section.
- Copy As : copy the current section to a different name section.
- Import Xml : import a section into current file.
- Up : move up the current section in list.
- Down : move down the current section in list.

2.2 Basic Information

- Project Name : edit this project name.
- Classification : select “Freeway” or “Not Freeway”.
- Region : select the region of highway (generally Rural)
- Functional System : select a functional system of highway.
- Design Speed : edit the design speed of highway.
- Chainage Interval : edit the default distance between stations.
- Start STA : edit the station at starting point.
- Station Index Increment : the default distance is 1000. Use the Station Index Format to label a station value as a count that is relative to a distance
- For 3D Modeling : if you create 3D Modeling, Check true.
- Design Vehicle : select one of Semi-trailer and truck.
- MAX Superelevation : edit the superelevation maximum value.
- Higyway/Ramp : Select a item in combobox (generally select “General”)

2.3 Lane Cross-section

- Lane - Num : Numbers of Lane
- Median - Median : the width of median, except strips.
- Shoulder-Shoulder : the width of shoulder, except strip.

2.4 Select a Specification File 

 The type of specification file is xml file system. so you can update the file. It has minimum radius, maximum vertical slope, etc. The default file is located to “C:\ROADEX\INI\ROADEX-SPEC.XML”. To selecting the file, you click the right button [...]

2.5 Select a Structure File
To drawing a cross-section structure (curb, guardrail, outlet, etc.), you must select the general structure xml. If non-select or empty, can’t draw a cross section normally. and to create a 3D modeling file, you must select the 3D structure xml.
