Cross-section (Menu - Link STA)

This menu has the commands to link separate highway.

1. Build Link-Highway

This command is to create child station linked with main highway.

1.1 Dialog
- Main Highway : select highway alignment of parent item(station)
- This-From : beginning station of current highway to link with main highway
- This-To : ending station of current highway to link with main highway
- Main-From : beginning station of main highway to link with current highway
- Main-To : ending station of main highway to link with current highway

- Type 

  · Match Line : perpendicular-link both main and current highway

  · Perpendicular1 : perpendicular to Main Highway

  · Perpendicular2 : perpendicular to current highway

- Except Linked Distance = 0 : to be checked, if the distance between station in current alignment to station in main highway equals zero, will not create link stations 

- Tolerance : tolerance of link calculating

- Slope : in case you select 'Match Line', the default value linked foreslope is -1.5 and the default value linked backslope is 1.0.

- File

· Save Option : save the spreadsheet and Main Highway combo box.

· Save All : save option and results of building 

· Save & Exit : save all and exit dialog

- Edit

· Insert Row : insert a row in the current row
· Delete Row : delete the selected rows

- Build

· Build Link-Highway STA : create the link stations

- Draw

· Horizontal Alignment : draw the horizontal curve in current drawing
· Clear Drawing : clear entities in current drawing
· Clear Stack : clear entities in memory

2. Add Link-STA
Manually, create a link-station on horizontal alignment.

3. Edit Link-STA
 edit the link stations

- This Highway-STA : station in current alignment
- Link distance : distance from main highway to current alignment. If station in current alignment is on the side of main highway, this value is negative. else if on the right side, this value is positive.
- Main Highway-STA : station in main highway

4. Delete All Child STA
 In case the current alignment is main highway, delete all child[link] stations as the following figure.

5. Delete Child STA
 To execute the command, show a dialog as the following dialog. If the selected section name is equal to the alignment name of the child station, delete the child station.

6. Rename section of Child STA

 change the child station's section(alignment) name.

7. Child To Link-Highway

 copy child stations to link-highway.
